Perth Tinder date: Woman’s warning after she was ‘robbed’ and left stranded by 28-year-old man

A 23-year-old woman from Perth thought she was going on a Tinder date, but instead, she was robbed, dumped, and left stranded, only for her cruel “date” to allegedly subject her to a final, vile humiliation.
“I’m anxious living on edge, still kinda a bit in shock of what happened, because (it was) actually insane,” she said.
Georgia has come forward to warn others about the dangers of dating app meet-ups after her harrowing experience. She told the Daily Mail, “I was technically robbed by someone I thought I was meant to be going on a date with.”

The incident began when Georgia and the man matched on Tinder and arranged to meet for a drink at Gage Roads Brewery in Fremantle on a Friday evening. He kept urging her to “wear something pretty” and even called on the way to remind her to dress up.
“I wore a dress and when he got here, he said, ‘Hey pretty,’ gave me a hug, and told me I looked really good,” she recalled.
Once they started driving, Georgia sensed something was wrong. “He was on his phone, messaging his friends that, ‘This girl’s not going to kidnap me,’ so I laughed it off and said my friends had my location too,” she said.
Minutes later, the man stopped the car, saying there was a light problem, and asked Georgia to step out to check. She said, “I feel so stupid for this. I went to check the lights, and as I was walking back to the car he drove off.”
Stranded and without her belongings, Georgia said, “I thought I had no keys, no phone, none of my stuff. Luckily he had the tiniest bit of human decency, and threw my phone and keys out of the car but he kept everything else.”
She described the incident as both humiliating and frightening: “I got robbed. It could have been way worse, I could have had way more on me. Luckily I didn’t, but it was still terrifying.”
After sharing her story on TikTok, other women came forward, revealing they had also allegedly received messages from the same man. Some had even gone on dates with him or had plans pending.
“I think his main goal is to rob women,” Georgia warned her followers. “Girls of Perth, please stay safe out there. Learn from my mistakes. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did.”
Adding to the disgrace, Georgia revealed the man later contacted her, begging her to take down her videos in exchange for an apology and her belongings. But after discovering he allegedly filmed and shared the incident on a group chat to mock her, she no longer believes he feels remorse.
“The man who has been begging me to take the videos down, filmed me when he left me on the side of the road and took my things,” she said. “He was laughing in the video - yet now he’s said he has no malicious intent?”
