The deceased are believed to be aged between 17 and 40.

They were discovered by Cory, the uncle of the teenage boy, who lives in a neighbouring unit.

He told Sunrise he smashed a window to gain access to the property where he made the discovery.

“I’ve come home to find him gone,” he said.

“He was a kid, 17 years old.”

It’s understood the teenage boy was father to a daughter less than 12 months old.

While Victoria Police said the cause of deaths is yet to be determined, the boy’s uncle told 7NEWS he believes the group died of a drug overdose.

The incident is not believed to be suspicious.

Investigations are ongoing.
