Patties Food Group recalls On The Menu microwave meals over packaging fears

A popular frozen item sold at Coles, Woolworths and IGA has been urgently recalled over food hazard fears.

Patties Food Group has recalled three On The Menu branded frozen meals due to “an error on the packaging”.

The 3 Cheese Macaroni (260g, best before date 27/03/26 & 14/03/26), Beef Lasagne (260g, best before date 12/03/26 & 20/03/26) and Spaghetti and Meatballs (260g best before date 19/03/26) should all be returned to their place of purchase for a full refund.

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand say the oven cooking instructions on the box are “not compatible with the product tray”.

The tray may melt if oven cooking instructions are followed.

Patties Food Group says the meals are still safe to consume if used in the microwave.
