South Australian entry scoops $150 million Powerball jackpot
A mystery single entry from South Australia has won the $150 million Powerball jackpot - the third-biggest lotto prize in Australian history.
Lottery officials said the winning entry was bought in-store from a lottery outlet in Adelaide.
The ticket holder or holders were not registered to a card or online account, so their identity remains a mystery.

“What I am stunned by, is whatever this winner thought they were doing today, on the weekend, for the rest of their lives, it is about to change whenever they check their ticket,” Mr Heart said.
“What we know is that one entrant took home that $150 million Powerball draw last night.
“They weren’t registered so they popped into an Adelaide outlet, grabbed a ticket and they may not know they are now $150 million richer, so hopefully there is a chair and glass of water nearby when they check ticket.”
“If you have been to Adelaide, you know someone from Adelaide, ring around and start checking your tickets.”
The jackpot had risen to $150 million on Thursday night after no entries scored the division one prize in the previous $100 million draw, prompting the lottery’s top prize to roll higher for the sixth consecutive week.
Lottery officials have urged all South Australian residents or visitors who purchased an entry into the draw to check their tickets.
The $150 million was the third-largest lottery prize in Australian history, behind a $200 million Powerball win shared between two people in February and a $160 million jackpot in 2022 that was carved up between three ticket holders.
“Well, it just blows the previous record of Australia’s biggest Lottery winner that was set in 2019 completely out of the wart water,” Mr Heart told Sunrise.
“Back then it was a Sydney nurse who won $107 million so this winner is the biggest Lottery winner in Australian history. We just need them to realise it.”
The odds of a single entry winning the division-one prize are more than 134 million to one - about the same chance as being struck by lightning twice in a lifetime.
