Sunrise star Edwina Bartholomew has lost her composure live on air, struggling to back-announce an interview package, prompting co-hosts Natalie Barr and David Woiwod to jump in and take over.

The hilarious exchange took place at the end of an interview between Sunrise’s entertainment correspondent, Steve Hargrave, and the stars of the new Spinal Tap sequel, The End Continues.

The interview was more than the seasoned presenter could take and she cracked up laughing mid-sentence, unable to finish her sentence.

“So sorry,” Edwina could be heard saying through her laughter.

“(I’ll) try to play it straight.”

“It’s tickled a funny bone,” Nat said.

“But we’ve got to move on.”

Spinal Tap II: The End Continues is a sequel to the classic mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap.

The film, directed by acclaimed director Rob Reiner, takes place 41 years after the original and includes guest appearances by music legends Elton John and Paul McCartney. ,
