“The AFP responded to a request for assistance from airline staff at Melbourne Airport on Tuesday,” an AFP spokesperson said.

The man was reported for alleged aggressive and disruptive behaviour.

Video from the flight obtained by 7NEWS shows the man speaking with three officers — a man and two women — one of whom tells him: “You’re intoxicated, I can smell it.”

In another video, officers direct him to get off the flight.

“One more time or I get tasered,” the passenger can be heard repeating back to the male officer, who is holding a taser in his hand.

The male officer tells the passenger to get off the flight, and the passenger can then be heard complaining about paying $5000 for the flight.

“I’ve done nothing, man,” the passenger said.

“I’m gonna give you a stun with the Taser, are you ready for it,” the male officer then said.

“You need to get off the flight now.”

“What have I done?” the man asked.

The male officer then tells him again to get off the flight.

In a second video, the man is guided off the plane by the male officer, with the two female officers and a third woman in civilian clothes following them.

The AFP is investigating the incident.
