Carlos Tevez: 40-year-old ex-Argentina international footballer rushed to hospital with ‘chest pains’

A former Argentina international, Manchester United and Manchester City striker has been rushed to hospital after suffering ‘chest pains’.

Daily Mail reports that Carlos Tevez spent the night at a clinic in Buenos Aires after seeking medical help.

The 40-year-old’s side that he manages, Independiente, confirmed he had been admitted to hospital and so far results had been ‘satisfactory’.

“Our coach, Carlos Tevez, entered the La Trinidad Sanatorium in San Isidro with chest pain,” his side wrote on X.

“They carried out the corresponding studies, and they were satisfactory.

“Tomorrow, you (sic) will continue with a series of exams scheduled as part of a general check-up that is usually carried out.”

Tevez is yet to comment on the matter.
