Britney Spears shares update after a late-night hotel incident, alleging her mother was somehow involved

Britney Spears has provided an update to fans, showing her injuries from a late-night hotel incident, alleging she knows her mum was somehow involved.

Emergency services were called to the Chateau Marmont hotel on Wednesday evening after a situation allegedly escalated between Spears and her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, within the confines of their hotel room.

Alarming photos of Spears later emerged of the pop princess leaving the hotel wearing a blanket and holding a pillow while being escorted by security.

In a new post on Spear’s Instagram, she explained what happened, claiming the response was “unnecessary”.

“Ok guys, so you know, I really twisted my ankle last night, like an idiot,” said Spears.

The video showed a bruised and swollen right foot, with Spears asking fans not to look at her feet, saying: “I need a manicure.”

“It’s so bad, f*****g idiot here tries to do a leap in the living of the chateau and I fell. Embarrassed myself,” Spears continued.

“Paramedics came to my door, illegally. Of course caused this huge scene which was so unnecessary and all I needed was ice.”

In a second video in the series, Spears appeared to break down in tears looking at her foot, audibly in pain.

Perhaps most confusing, in the caption of the post, Spears alleged she knew her mum was involved.

“I know my mom was involved !!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out !!! I was set up just like she did way back when !!! I wish I had grandparents !!! I can’t stand her !!! I honestly don’t care I will say it !!! Psss this man is wonderful !!! He’s like a father to me and he got me through last night !!! I adore you and admire you mister Mathew !!!”

Spears concluded the post with an image of “mister Mathew” where the man posed next to a wolf.
