Sam Mac shares emotional reunion with fiancée Rebecca James and daughter Margot after Sri Lanka visit
Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac has shared his emotional reunion with stylist fiancée Rebecca James and daughter Margot at Sydney Airport after his trip to Sri Lanka for the show last week.
Daughter Margot beamed when she spotted Sam, who gave her a massive bear hug.

“The best surprise from Rebecca James and Margot after eight days in Sri Lanka,” Sam wrote.
“Time away from my little fam (family) is definitely the toughest part of the job, but coming home to a greeting like this makes everything worth it.
“I’ve never been so ecstatic to accept the $10 Uber cancellation fee.”
Sam received a number of well-wishes in the comments section, including a note from Rebecca.
“We missed you!!!!!” Rebecca wrote.
“You have a beautiful family Sam,” another wrote.
“She’s so happy to see Dada. Bec is happy, too. Welcome home, Sam Mac,” a fan wrote.
Sam and Rebecca are currently expecting their second child, announcing in February they were expanding their brood, with the new arrival expected next month.
“’Baby Mac’ (the sequel) premiering this August 2024,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Starring Margot as the big sister.”
Sam and Rebecca revealed their engagement in December, sharing a happy photo of themselves with their engagement ring.
“My secret 2023 New Year’s resolution was to propose to my darling Rebecca sometime this year. So I guess this is what you’d call a buzzer beater,” he told followers on Instagram.
“She’s calm, strong and unintentionally funny. She’s super smart and a genuine knockout beauty.
“She makes me a better man.”
The couple welcomed their daughter Margot in September 2022, with the popular presenter taking a month of paternity leave.
“It’s my turn to be getting Margot up, feed her and basically becoming her personal assistant/servant,” he joked to 7Life at the time.
“Margot’s changed so much, even in the past couple of months, so it’s super exciting to have some proper quality time with her.”
