UK TV personality Harry Savage, best known for the Channel 4 show Hunted, has died aged 26.

The rising star was found dead in his London home on July 19 after police were called to his house by ambulance staff, The Sun reported.

An investigation has since been launched by local police and a man has been arrested.

The circumstances are being treated as an “unexpected death” and the cause of death remains unknown.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene but has since been released on bail pending inquiries, according to The Sun.

Savage and his older brother Frank were on Hunted in 2019 while he was a drama student.

The reality show follows 14 everyday people who must go on the run and remain undetected for 28 days.

Friends and fans have expressed their shock and shared tributes on social media.

“Heaven truly gained an angel with you Harry, and my God are you going to keep them entertained ... I really can’t make sense of what has happened and keep wishing it wasn’t true. Forever 26 and in my heart. I will miss you every day,” one tribute said.

“I think I can speak for us all when I say Harry was simply the best. A force of nature, a ray of sunshine, born into this world a superstar. Destined for greatness, and in his short time here he achieved so much,” a second wrote.

“Absolutely devastated to read of your unexpected passing ... Such a kind soul, Harry. Rest in eternal peace, darling ...Forever young,” another said.

“Completely shocked at your loss. You were so full of life,” added a fourth.
