“Kat why r u wearing a white dress when the bride is having a white dress isn’t that a bit disrespectful,” one user questioned.

The 34-year-old responded to this comment with a video asking, “You know when they say you can’t wear white to a wedding this is okay right?”

She added she was going to wear the dress because it was her only option.

Social media users were divided on whether wearing a white dress to a wedding was disrespectful.

“The dress is BEAUTIFUL! It’s too white tho,” one user said.

A second person commented, “I would be annoyed if someone had that much white… it’s a stunning dress though.”

“If you ever question it ALWAYS CHECK WITH THE BRIDE,” a third suggested.

Other users thought it was ridiculous that people were upset.

“As long as it’s not an actual wedding dress, it should never be a problem. People are just superstitious 😂,” one user wrote.

Another added, “This is perfect Kat I just thought it would be all white but this is absolutely stunning 🤩👍.”
