A viral video of a ‘emotional support kangaroo’ being denied access from boarding a plane blew up online, but there has been a shocking twist in the story.

The video went viral, attracting 16.1 million views in just four days, with many people commenting their support and admiration for the Aussie icon and disappointment it wasn’t allowed on the aircraft.

“Bro looks better behaved than most adults that board planes,” one person wrote.

“It’s so heartbreaking,” another stated.

“He literally has a ticket... let him on,” a follow up added.

“Another day reminding me humans r so ruthless n cruel, jus look at the kangaroo’s face, already heart broken,” a viewer sympathetically said.

However, the cute and seemingly harmless video has a cruel twist — it’s not real.

The mega viral video is a product of AI and fooled many viewers who believed the out of place animal was real.

Although, some eagle eyed watchers were quick to point out the absurdity of people believing its validity.

“This is it. Every generation currently living can now be juked by AI content,” one comment said.

“AI is f***n scary you can’t tell which one is real or fake anymore,” a second noted.

“If you are not sure if it is this AI or not, check out the hands. Don’t be a sucker. Thanks,” a third added.

The creator of the viral video, infiniteunreality, has collected a large following on Instagram with 255,000 followers — posting AI content.

The videos range from ludicrous to borderline believable and each retain large view counts, with the trend of AI videos becoming more popular then ever.
