Aussie MMA fighter Danial Williams airlifted to hospital in ‘horrifying’ emergency
Australian ONE Championship fighter Danial Williams is on the mend following a significant car crash in Western Australia.
The 31-year-old known as Mini T said he was airlifted to hospital after the accident three weeks ago.
Williams only went public this week after putting all his energy into his immediate recovery, having undergone surgery before needing to learn how to “walk, eat s*** and do the basics” again.

“Three weeks ago, I was airlifted to the hospital after crashing my car in the bush. Scary s***.
“The crash was brutal.
“I lost a few days, came to after surgery, and can only imagine how horrifying it would have been for my loved ones to see if I’d pull through or still be me.
“I’m super grateful for their constant support.”
A photo of his crushed car painted a grim picture of the situation.
“The hospital staff and all involved are absolute legends, from being helicoptered out of the country hospital to landing in WA’s only trauma ward, the care I received was next level,” Williams said.
“True superheroes working their magic. Honestly the system we have here in Australia is insane!!!
“Saved my life, and I’m beyond thankful.”
Williams last fought in October 2024, claiming a unanimous decision over Banma Duoji for his first MMA win in two years.
The victory was a strong start to his pursuit of an MMA world title after coming up short in two kickboxing world-title bouts in 2023.
But that path has taken a back seat to getting back to normal in 2025.
“Recovery has been humbling,” Williams said.
“Relearning to walk, eat, s*** and do the basics after being so fit and healthy has been a trip. The pain has been unreal!
“But so has the gratitude I guess, it’s changed my perspective on a lot of things.
“I kept it quiet cos I wasn’t sure what happened and focused on recovering, unsure of how to process it all but I’m just fortunate and grateful for the support I have.
“Power to the people on this one. Cheers to resilience, second chances and feeling better.”
