Broncos five-eighth Ezra Mam rushed to hospital after car crash in Brisbane
Brisbane Broncos star Ezra Mam has been rushed to hospital after he crashed his car on Friday night.
Mam crashed head-on into an Uber driver’s vehicle and police have now confirmed that he tested positive to a roadside drug test.
He was also allegedly driving unlicensed.

Mam’s alcohol test was negative. Depending on what happens with the result of a second test, police may charge Mam.
“Police are investigating following a two-vehicle traffic crash at Bardon tonight, October 18,” Queensland Police said in a statement on Friday.
“Initial investigations indicate at approximately 5.20pm, a Ford Ranger utility was travelling north-east along Simpsons Road when it struck a Toyota Camry, travelling in the opposite direction, near the intersection of The Drive.
“Initial roadside drug testing was conducted on the driver of the utility, a 21-year-old Ipswich man ...
“No one was seriously injured, and investigations are continuing.”
The NRL Integrity Unit is also investigating and the Broncos have confirmed the incident.
“Broncos player Ezra Mam has been involved in a road accident this afternoon in Brisbane,” the Broncos said in a statement.
“He has been transported to hospital for treatment but his injuries appear to be minor at this stage.
“The Broncos have informed the NRL Integrity Unit of the matter.
“No further comment will be made on the issue at this stage.”
