Trent Robinson and wife badly hurt after gas bottle explodes while couple cooking dinner
Sydney Roosters coach Trent Robinson was airlifted to hospital alongside his wife after they were injured in a gas explosion while cooking a barbecue in the Hunter Valley.
Robinson and his wife Sandra suffered burns to their arms after the gas bottle exploded with paramedics opting to airlift the pair to hospital.
Sandra Robinson was kept in hospital overnight, while her husband was discharged after several hours.

The Robinsons were well enough to drive back to Sydney from John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle after Sandra was discharged.
