“We have been in communication with family members — including his son, Nick, and daughter, Brooke,” police said in a new statement.

“The unique nature of this case has required us to interview multiple witnesses and seek medical records from a variety of providers, and our detectives continue to do that.

“All of this takes time.

“The Hogan family has been appreciative of our efforts and our communication with them.”

Hogan’s wife Sky Daily believes in a recent surgery Hogan’s phrenic nerve was “compromised”.

And a police report recently said that a occupational therapist — at the scene of Hogan’s death — had claimed that a surgeon had indeed “severed” the famous wrestler’s phrenic nerve.

The phrenic nerve “is a critical nerve in the human body, primarily responsible for controlling the diaphragm, the major muscle of breathing”.

And a new report by TMZ sports suggests Hogan “did not have a chest-clenching episode” that is usually associated with heart attacks, and ”he merely stopped breathing”.

After he stopped breathing his wife, Sky, called 911.

The police report — according to TMZ — is on “lockdown”.

Meanwhile, Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, is also asking questions and says she is willing to pay for another autopsy.

“(I’ve received) legit calls from professionals - from police officials to nurses that were supposedly with my dad on the day of his death telling me I need to see body cam footage and I need to get a hold of the 911 tapes because they supposedly contain information that could potentially shed enough light to change the narrative.” Brooke said on social media.

“I do not have answers as to if the officials who have contacted me about what they witnessed relayed this information to the medical examiner’s office.

“And if they did, I do not know why it wasn’t taken into consideration.

“Here’s ALL I KNOW. So stop speculating, stop asking. I have also informed my brother (Nick Hogan) of all of this information who is boots on the ground with everything.”

Hogan had a private funeral on August 5 but according to reports he still hasn’t been cremated.

Sky Daily said previously that the cremation had been delayed due to lingering questions about Hogan’s death.
