FOUL PLAY (Part Two): Tunnel Vision

The Nightly
1 Min Read
The Wildcats are NBL champions and hometown heroes but star forward Tiny Pinder faces serious criminal charges.

The Wildcats may have had everything going for them during the championship play-offs in 1990.

But with their star player in handcuffs inside a locker room mid-game, the team were in trouble. No one knew what Pinder had done.

In Part Two of Foul Play: The Tiny Pinder Story, the captain of the team Mike Ellis reveals what happened next and how the Wildcats managed to win their first ever championship, despite the “dark cloud” that hung above their heads. Meanwhile, Pinder’s charges kept piling up in the criminal court as he carried on slam-dunking on the basketball court.
