Prince Christian wore a studenterhue — a traditional cap worn by Danish graduates on the last day of school, signifying he no longer attends school.

It’s thought the heir apparent to the Danish throne will go to university in September and then undergo military training, just like his father did.

Two years ago, Prince Christian abruptly left the elite Herlufsholm Boarding School after allegations of sexual and physical abuse at the institution surfaced in a documentary.

He transferred to Ordrup Gymnasium, and was joined by sister Isabella who is a year below her brother.

Mary and Frederik put suggestions their marriage is in crisis to one side as they left the school arm-in-arm.

Just weeks ago, Queen Mary was awarded the Grand Commander’s Cross of the Order of the Dane.

King Frederik honoured his Hobart-born wife with the priceless gift during state celebrations for his 56th birthday, amid months of speculation of marital troubles and denials of an affair.

Late last year, Spanish magazine Lecturas published bombshell allegations Frederik was having an affair with Mexican socialite Genoveva Casanova.
