Woman rescued as crash leaves Porsche dangling from parking garage in Florida
A woman has been rescued when a crash left a Porsche SUV dangling from the third floor of a parking garage in Coral Gables, Florida.
It appeared the woman accidentally hit the accelerator — causing the SUV to plough through a concrete barrier in the garage at 1567 San Remo Ave on Monday, Coral Gables Fire Rescue officials said.
Aerial video from NBC South Florida’s helicopter showed the white SUV hanging well over the edge of the garage but being held up by a tree.

“Pretty sure she was pretty shaken up but ... she was fairly calm considering how dramatic this incident was,” Coral Gables Fire Rescue Chief Xavier Jones said.
An employee of a doctor’s office across the street reported hearing the moment of impact.
“I basically heard a car peeling out, like they hit the gas by accident or trying to go really fast,” Katiana Polanco said.
“I heard a really hard crash, so I thought it was a car crash between two cars.”
Officials used a crane to remove the vehicle and said structural engineers would be taking a look at the garage.
