Anthony Eriksen: Accused killer to face trial over partner Lisa Fenwick’s stabbing
The partner of a woman found stabbed multiple times has refused to enter a plea after being hit with a fresh charge of domestic violence-related murder.
While investigating reports of an incident on April 9, 2023, emergency services found 59-year-old Lisa Fenwick stabbed to death in an apartment at Mascot, in Sydney’s inner south.
Her partner, Anthony Eriksen, was arrested by police and charged with murder.

Crown prosecutors indicated they were withdrawing the initial charge of murder and instead pursuing a charge of domestic violence-related murder.
Eriksen’s lawyer Tania Johnson said her client would be sent to the NSW Supreme Court for trial without a plea of either guilty or not guilty to the remaining charge.
Magistrate Jennifer Atkinson confirmed that the accused killer understood the consequences of this decision.
“If (your case) leaves here without a formal plea, you won’t be able to get a full discount on sentence,” she said.
“You understand what I’ve just told you?”
“Yes I do, Your Honour,” Eriksen replied.
If someone pleads guilty in the local court, a discount of 25 per cent can be made to any jail term the court finally imposes.
Eriksen’s case will come before the Supreme Court on November 1.
He did not apply for bail and will remain in custody.
