Balcatta baby death: Homicide detectives investigating after infant found dead in Perth’s north
Homicide detectives are investigating the death of an infant in Balcatta early on Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to Campion Avenue about 3am.
It is understood the baby, aged under 12 months old, was found deceased.

Police, including forensic officers, remain at the scene on Monday afternoon.
No charges have been laid.
“The investigation is in the preliminary stages and family members of the infant are assisting detectives with their inquiries,” a police spokeswoman said.
