Bondi Beach: Charges laid after man allegedly stabbed in face, hand

A man in his 30s has been hospitalised after being stabbed at Bondi Beach in Sydney, suffering wounds to his face and hand.

A man has allegedly been stabbed in the face at Bondi Beach overnight.

Police were contacted around 11.15pm about an assault.

When they arrived at Warners Avenue, Bondi Beach, they found a 33-year-old man who had stab wounds to his face and hands.

Ambulances treated him at the scene before he was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Police established a crime scene at a premises in Ramsgate Avenue, Bondi Beach.

They arrested a 32-year-old man at that location.

He was taken to a nearby police station where he was charged with reckless wounding.

He is expected to appear in court on Sunday.
