Boy, 18, suffers serious injuries in stabbing in Salisbury North, South Australia

A teenager was seriously injured in a stabbing about 30 minutes north of Adelaide at the weekend.

The 18-year-old was stabbed about 8.20pm on Sunday on Leon St in Salisbury North.

By the time police arrived at the scene, the teen victim had already been taken to hospital by witnesses with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said it appeared as though the stabbing “was not a random assault” and are continuing to investigate.
