Pheobe Bishop: Detectives charge James Wood and Tanika Bromley with murder of missing Queensland teenager
Missing teen Pheobe Bishop’s housemates have been charged with her murder, more than three weeks after she vanished.
Queensland Police charged James Wood, 34, and Tanika Bromley, 33, with one count each of murder and two counts each of interfering with a corpse on Thursday night.
Pheobe was last seen on May 15. She failed to board a flight to WA to visit her boyfriend and neither she nor her luggage have been seen since, with police revealing neither her phone nor bank accounts had been accessed.

“The remains of Pheobe Bishop have not been located to date. Detectives continue to investigate this matter, and physical searches will continue as needed as information is provided,” a police statement released on Thursday read.

Pheobe’s mother says her world has been “shattered”.
Her remains are yet to be found and Kylie Johnson has begged anyone with information about Pheobe’s final resting place to come forward.
“Our world has just been shattered into the most horrific place I’ve ever been…” Ms Johnson wrote in a social media post.
“I need my baby home to put her to rest! I’m absolutely begging anyone that knows anything to come forward.
“WE need to put her to rest, we need to put her to peace.”
Mr Wood and Ms Bromley are due to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Friday June 6.
