A driver has been killed when their car collided with a truck in Melbourne’s southeast.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Warrigal Road and Orange Street in Oakleigh South about 11am on Friday.

The driver of the car, who is yet-to-be-formally identified, died at the scene.

While the driver of the truck stopped at the scene and has been spoken to by police.

“The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and an investigation is underway,” police said.
