Freddo Frogs, Caramello Koalas to jump in price as Cadbury Australia blames cocoa and input cost increases
Cadbury Australia has announced that Caramello Koalas and Freddo Frogs will leap in price.
The iconic Australian chocolates, loved for decades, will double in price from $1 to $2.
Taking to social media to announce to price rise, Cadbury Australia said: “Our Freddo Frogs and Caramello Koalas have delighted chocolate lovers for generations.”

“Sharebags of Freddos and Caramello Koalas are also available and off great value,” they said.
“We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we strive to deliver the high quality chocolate you love, made with the best local ingredients.”
The post was published with comments turned off, but that didn’t stop chocolate lovers taking to social media to voice their frustration over the shock announcement.
One social media user said: “You know the world has gone bonkers when a good old Freddo Frog is now $2!”
Another put the blame on politicians, saying: “I’m sick of the Albanese Government.”
