A woman has been hospitalised after a Mazda and P-Plater crashed in Sydney's West.

A woman has been hospitalised after a collision between two cars in Sydney’s west which caused one of the vehicles to roll onto its roof.

The vehicles collided on Roberts Rd, Greenacre just before 12.20am on Saturday morning.

The impact of the collision caused one of the cars to roll onto its roof with the driver trapped for a short period of time before being rescued.

Paramedics treated the female drivers of each vehicle at the scene.

One driver one was taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition, while the other did not require any more treatment.

“Officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the crash,” police said.

Investigations are ongoing.
