Harrowing footage shows moment terrified teen begs stranger for help after stabbing in Sydney
‘It’s not something you ever imagine seeing in your life.’
A 17‑year‑old boy is in hospital after a stabbing in Sydney’s southwest — saved only thanks to a stranger who opened her door as he collapsed on her front step.
Julie, an Earlwood resident, told 7NEWS she was at home with her children on Friday evening when the teenager staggered up Flinders Road, banging on her window and begging for help.

“He was so scared. I just wanted to calm him down and make sure he knew he was safe now.”
The boy had been slashed across his neck, back and shoulder. Moments earlier, police believe he was attacked inside the public toilet block at Beaman Park.
With nowhere else to go, he ran from the park and slumped in front of Julie’s home, clutching his wounds.
“It’ll probably hit us in the next couple of days,” Julie said.
“It’s not something you ever imagine seeing in your life.”
Emergency crews arrived about 5.45pm and treated the teen before rushing him to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
The toilet block was still taped off on Saturday morning as detectives examined the scene.
Police say the teenager is not cooperating with investigators, and they still don’t know who — or how many people — they are looking for.
They’re urging anyone with information or vision from the area to contact police.
