Investigation underway after man found dead inside home in Doveton, southeast Melbourne
The man could not be saved, despite a woman’s desperate efforts.
Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man at a home in Melbourne’s southeast.
The man was found unresponsive at a property on Banksia St in Doveton about 11.30am on Thursday.

The man is yet to be formally identified.
A crime scene has been established, with Homicide Squad detectives remaining at the property on Thursday as investigations continued.
No arrests have been made.
