Langwarrin: Woman’s body found allegedly stabbed to death, 63-year-old man arrested

The body of a woman who had allegedly been stabbed to death was located in a suburban home in the early hours of Boxing Day morning.

Emergency services were called to a residence on Wood Duck Court, Langwarrin, at around 6.30am after reports of a woman being stabbed.

On arrival, the woman, who has not yet been formally identified, was declared deceased.

Police arrested a 63-year-old man at the property. He is known to the woman.

“A crime scene has been established while detectives investigate to determine the circumstances surrounding the death,” A Victoria Police spokesperson said.
