Merrylands shooting: Man shot dead property in Western Sydney a day after innocent 23yo shot at home
A major police investigation has been launched.
A man has died after he was shot on a driveway in Western Sydney on Wednesday afternoon, leading to a major police operation.
Emergency services were called to a property on Bruce Street in Merrylands West at approximately 3.15pm following reports of a shooting, according to New South Wales Police.
The man in his 30s was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, but died at the scene.

Homicide Squad detectives have launched an investigation and crime scene has been established.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting the incident could be linked to underworld activity.
It comes just a day after innocent 23-year-old Marco Tapia was shot dead during a home invasion at Glen Alpine.
Police are set to front the media at 5.30pm on Wednesday.
