Mt Druitt, NSW: Teenagers charged with murder over alleged fatal stabbing of 33yo man

Two Sydney teenagers, aged 13 and 16, have been charged with murder after a tradesman in his 30s was allegedly fatally stabbed twice in the stomach and repeatedly kicked in the city's west.

Two teenagers have been charged over the alleged fatal stabbing of a man on Friday night.

Emergency services were contacted around 9pm on October 9 with reports of an assault.

When they arrived at the property on Cleeve Close in Mt Druitt, NSW Police found a man in his 30s with stab wounds to his torso.

He received medical attention but died at the scene.

A crime scene was established and an investigation launched into the man’s death.

Around 7.20pm on Sunday, police arrested a 13-year-old boy in relation to the incident.

He was charged with murder, breach of bail, and an unrelated offence of robbery in company.

About 40 minutes later, another teenager was arrested.

The 16-year-old was charged with murder - accessory after the fact.

The two teenagers were refused bail and are expected to appear in a children’s court on Monday.
