Actress and pop singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte is offloading the resort-style Byron Bay acreage she shared with her ex-husband, Rogue Traders musician Cameron McGlinchey.
The hinterland property in Ewingsdale, around 7km out of Byron Bay, has an asking price of $3 million to $3.25 million with First National Byron listing agents Su Reynolds and Renee Schofield.

Wollongong-born Bassingthwaighte and McGlinchey’s decision to pack up and move north followed the $4 million sale of their 1907 home in the Melbourne suburb of Brighton, just before the pandemic and start of Victoria’s extended lockdown.
Built in 1985, the house is set on 1.17 acres surrounded by established trees, tropical plants, lawns and a creek.
In addition to the main house, the property has a separate one-bedroom, one-bathroom guest house.
The main residence has a large open-plan living space with timber flooring, feature lighting and a sleek kitchen with a walk-in pantry, induction cooktop, stone benchtops and island bench.
It is designed for seamless indoor and outdoor living, with the home opening out of a large undercover outdoor living area that overlooks the in-ground swimming pool.
A large cabana with a day bed adds to the resort-style feel of the property.
The freshly renovated one-bedroom guest house could also be utilised as a home office or rental income.
Other features include a two-car garage, a separate carport and security cameras.
Prior to being listed for sale, the house was up for lease earlier this year with an asking price of $2850 per week.
That was dropped to $2500 before it was removed from rental listing sites.
The asking price for the property is in line with Ewingsdale’s median house value of $3.2 million.
The sale follows former Neighbours star Bassingthwaighte and McGlinchey’s split in August 2023.
The pair wed in 2011 after striking up a relationship in 2006 as members of pop-rock band, Rogue Traders.
Bassingthwaighte, 48, has since moved on to a new relationship with girlfriend, Pip Loth.
