Police established a crime scene at the fields and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

They cordoned off the grounds, blocking all entrances as detectives combed the scene for evidence and searched through nearby shrubs.

Police have since determined the death was not suspicious.

A post-mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

“No further details are available at this time,” a Queensland Police spokesperson said.
