A popular brand of instant noodles has been recalled and a health warning issued to potential consumers.

The recall is due to the presence of peanuts, an undeclared allergen, in the product.

Nissin Cup Noodle Big Curry 120g is available from Asian grocers and supermarkets around the country.

Food Standards Australia says anyone who has a peanut allergy and who has eaten the product is at risk of an allergic reaction.

“Consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” the statement said.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.”
