North Albury stabbing: Man attacked with knife dies in hospital a week later
NSW Police have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses to a stabbing in the state’s south last month.
A man who was stabbed in the neck in North Albury has died from his injuries la week later.
Police gave the tragic update in a fresh appeal for public assistance regarding the suspected knife attack which took place at 1am on Sunday 27 September 2026, in Calimo Street, North Albury.
Paramedics and police officers responded and found a 28-year-old man suffering a stab wound to his neck.

A crime scene was established and Murray River detectives, commenced Strike Force Metron to investigate the stabbing.
On Sunday, October 4, strike force detectives were told the man had died in hospital.
State Crime Command Homicide Squad will now assist Murray River Police District officers with the investigation.
A report will be prepared for the information of the NSW Coroner.
As investigations continue, strike force detectives are asking anyone with information, CCTV, mobile phone or dashcam vision in relation to the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
