Baby dies following major emergency response at home in Whalan, Sydney

A baby has died following a major emergency service response at a Sydney home.
A “concern for welfare” report was made in relation to the child on Monday morning, and several police and ambulance crews arrived at the Goroka St home in Whalan about 10am.
NSW Police “found an infant who was unresponsive”, a spokesperson said.

“An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has begun,” NSW Police said.
“However, is not being treated as suspicious.
“A report will be prepared for the coroner.”
