Blacktown: Teenage girl stabbed ‘multiple’ times during brawl outside school in western Sydney

Emergency services descended on the scene after receiving reports a 17-year-old girl had been stabbed ‘multiple’ times.

A teenage girl has been stabbed during a brawl outside a school in western Sydney on Friday afternoon.

Emergency services descended on Lancaster Street in Blacktown about 2.30pm after receiving reports a 17-year-old girl had suffered stab wounds.

The teenager was raced to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition to be treated for “multiple” stab wounds.

New South Wales Police said in a statement that officers were told about half a dozen people were involved in the incident.

“After being stabbed the girl entered the school grounds to seek assistance,” the force said in the statement.

“The girl is not believed to be affiliated with the school.”

Detectives have established a crime scene and are investigating the incident.
