NSW Police have established a community reception centre in Coogee where families and witnesses can speak to investigators and support officers following the mass shooting at Bondi Beach yesterday evening.

The community centre will be located at the InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach, at 242 Arden Street in Coogee.

Witnesses, loved ones, and those affected by yesterday’s shooting are being urged to attend and speak to investigators and support officers.

Police have confirmed the shooting was a targeted attack on Sydney’s Jewish community celebrating the first day Hanukkah at Bondi Beach.

The death toll currently sits at 16, including one of the gunmen.

Six of the 15 innocent killed have been named, including a 10-year-old girl.
