People punch and kick each other during the violent exchange.

One man uses his hard hat to repeatedly hit another over the head.

Police said they responded to reports of a fight involving more than 20 people on Sexton Ave in Castle Hill about 7am.

“Officers have been informed that the brawl involved two apparent groups wearing high-vis clothing and construction attire,” NSW police said in a statement.

Most had left the scene by the time police arrived.
