Chris Baghsarian alleged kidnapping murder: Two arrested after North Ryde abduction, body found near Pitt Town
Two more suspects are now in custody after an alleged mistaken identity kidnapping of an elderly Sydney man ended in tragedy.
Police have arrested two more people over the alleged kidnapping and murder of 85-year-old Sydney man Chris Baghsarian, who detectives believe was taken in a case of mistaken identity.
The elderly man was allegedly abducted from his home in North Ryde, triggering a major investigation by the State Crime Command’s robbery & serious crime squad under Strike Force Chobat.
On February 13, just after 5am, officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command received a report that the 85-year-old had been kidnapped from his home.

Mr Baghsarian’s remains were located on Tuesday, February 24 near a golf club in Pitt Town, in Sydney’s north-west.
Now, a month after his remains were found, arrests have been made.
On Wednesday morning, strike force detectives executed a search warrant at a property in Seven Hills.
A 23-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested at the address and taken to Riverstone and Blacktown Police Stations, where they are now assisting police with inquiries.
