Early inquiries established that Mr Baghsarian was allegedly not the intended target and had been taken in an apparent case of mistaken identity.

Mr Baghsarian’s remains were located on Tuesday, February 24 near a golf club in Pitt Town, in Sydney’s north-west.

Now, a month after his remains were found, arrests have been made.

On Wednesday morning, strike force detectives executed a search warrant at a property in Seven Hills.

A 23-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested at the address and taken to Riverstone and Blacktown Police Stations, where they are now assisting police with inquiries.
