Driver killed as BMW slams into trees in Wyndham, on NSW south coast

A driver whose luxury car left the road and slammed into trees has died at the crash site on the south coast of NSW.

The man, believed to be aged in his 40s, was behind the wheel of a BMW convertible that smashed into vegetation on Mount Darragh Rd at Wyndham, 35 kilometres west of Merimbula.

The incident happened about 1.45pm on Wednesday.

“First responders attended but were unable to revive the driver,” NSW Police said in a statement.

An investigation is now underway and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
