A 41-year-old man has died after NSW Police entered a bedroom during a search warrant.
A 41-year-old man has died after self-harming during a police raid at a home in Sydney’s Blue Mountains.
NSW Police officers were executing a search warrant at a property on Grose Street, Leura, about 7am on Tuesday when they found the man inside a bedroom.
Police said the man had self-harmed and officers immediately provided first aid before NSW Ambulance paramedics were called.

The raid involved officers from the NSW Police sex crime squad and the public order and riot squad, who were executing a Commonwealth search warrant.
The operation formed part of Strike Force Trawler, an ongoing covert investigation targeting alleged online sexual abuse, grooming and child exploitation material.
Police said officers had attended the property intending to arrest an individual.
A critical incident team from Mt Druitt Police Area Command will lead an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
A report will also be prepared for the state coroner, while an independent standards investigation will examine police conduct during the incident.
A police cordon remains in place around the property as investigations continue.
