Man and woman hit by car outside East Village Shopping Centre in inner Sydney suburb of Zetland

A man and a woman have been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car outside a Sydney shopping centre.
Just after 11am on Monday, emergency services were called to Gadigal Ave in Zetland, near the East Village Shopping Centre, after the two pedestrians were hit by a white Audi.
A woman in her 30s and a man in his 50s were treated by paramedics for suspected spinal and head injuries.

They are believed to be in a stable condition.
The driver of the car, a 19-year-old man, was breath tested at the scene, which returned a negative result.
He was not injured.
