Man found dead, woman critical at home in regional NSW
Police have made a grim discovery inside a home in a regional NSW town, leading to a man’s arrest at a nearby fast-food venue.

A man has been found dead alongside a critically injured woman inside a home in regional NSW.
Police conducted a welfare check at the home on Gisborne St, Wellington - about 350km northwest of Sydney - shortly after 8am on Saturday.
Officers found the body of a man believed to be in his 70s.

A seriously injured woman, also believed to be in her 70s, was found inside the home.
She was flown to hospital in a critical condition.
A 30-year-old man was arrested inside a fast-food restaurant on Arthur Street, but has since been released pending further inquiries.
