Moorebank High School: Police lock down Chipping Norton precinct after alleged threats

Students at a Western Sydney Sydney high school were sent into lockdown after reports of threats toward the facility.

Moorebank High School at Chipping Norton was placed on alert and police were called to manage the incident which occurred at around around 2.30pm on Wednesday.

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command enforced the lockdown for at least 90 minutes.

Students are now being released in a controlled manner, with police confirming there were no injuries.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
