Investigators remain focused on Western Sydney, particularly a property linked to his mother.
Detective Superintendent Brett Van Akker said Angok had been taken to the hospital for medical treatment before running from a ward.

Personal items believed to belong to Angok were later found abandoned on Gallipoli Road, but there has been no confirmed sighting since.
Van Akker said Angok was “well known” to police, had a criminal conviction and was awaiting deportation at the time of his escape.
He was convicted of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in a gang rape at a Doonside park in 2014.
The Daily Telegraph reported he had been held at Villawood since his visa was cancelled in late 2016 after being released from prison.
Further reports have detailed Angok’s nine years in immigration detention, where he allegedly committed more than 100 offences.
According to The Australian, these included assaults, possessing weapons, stealing, triggering major disturbances, threatening self-harm and conducting hunger strikes.

The outlet also reported Angok was accompanied by three guards from Secure Journeys at the time of his escape and had “mechanical restraints” fitted.
Police renewed their appeal on Friday, urging anyone who sees him not to approach him and to call Triple-0 immediately.
Angok is described as being of African appearance, about 175cm to 180cm tall, of thin build, with short black hair.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, grey tracksuit pants and white “Croc”-style sandals.
Police said Angok previously lived in the Blacktown area and may be using public transport.
