Two women dead, third seriously injured in Bellingen crash in northern NSW

Two women have died, and a third left seriously injured, in a crash in northern NSW.
Emergency services were called to Hammond St in Bellingen after a silver Subaru Forester left the road and crashed into two parked cars about 4.20pm on Thursday.
Police said bystanders rushed to help three women inside the car, performing CPR on two passengers until paramedics arrived.

Paramedics were able to stabilise the second passenger, an 89-year-old woman, and she was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital in critical condition.
However, police confirmed the women died of her injuries in hospital on Friday.
The 64-year-old driver was conveyed to the same hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Anyone with information or dashcam and CCTV footage of the crash are asked to contact crime stoppers.
Investigations are ongoing.
