About 30 minutes later, 30km away in North St Marys, police say multiple people broke into a house and were confronted by an 18-year-old occupant who was then stabbed.

The first victim was treated by paramedics and taken to Liverpool Hospital, and on Sunday is in a serious but stable condition, Nine News reports.

The 18-year-old from North St Marys is in Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

The first incident happened on Hoxton Park Road. Images from the scene show a black Mazda sedan has been struck on the back window hard enough to pierce the glass, and later was cordoned off with police tape.

Believed to be in his 20s, paramedics treated the victim for multiple stab wounds, a police spokesperson said.

The second incident happened at a house on Oleander Road in North St Marys about 12.30am.

“On arrival, officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were told several males had forced entry into a house and stabbed an 18-year-old man,” the police spokesperson said.

“He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition with one stab wound to the back of his left thigh.

“A crime scene was established.

Police are investigating both incidents, and no arrests have been made.
