Woman’s body found on NSW road sparking police operation
A woman’s body has been found on a road in rural NSW, sparking a major police operation.
The woman’s body was found on Parkdale Rd, Bourke, shortly after 8am on Tuesday, police said.
The woman is believed to be 47 years old but is yet to be formally identified.

A crime scene has been established.
A 49-year-old man known to the woman is currently assisting with inquiries at Bourke Police Station.
